ABOUT the speakers:

Carl Turner is the Chief Brand Strategy Officer at Klick and obsessed with creating unorthodox approaches to strategy, unique stories for brands, and inspired strategy teams. He has nearly two decades of experience in brand strategy, research, and analytics. Prior to Klick, Carl was the Managing Partner, Chief Strategy Officer of Razorfish Health, leading their Brand Strategy, Experience Strategy, and Research & Analytics teams. He has also led strategy teams at many other agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, J. Walter Thompson, and Palio. His teams have been responsible for HCP and DTC strategies behind many of the most successful recent launches in oncology, immunology, rare disease, and infectious disease. In the Women’s Health space, Carl has led Consumer and HCP research and strategy for many brands, including NuvaRing, Ortho Evra, Ortho Tri Cycle Lo, Diclegis, and Novasure.

Amy Gómez is a cross-cultural marketing specialist and inclusive culture builder with over 20 years experience helping Fortune 500 companies and leading not-for-profits communicate effectively with diverse consumers. She leads Klick’s Cross-Cultural Marketing capability, the world’s largest independent commercialization partner for life sciences, and spearheads the company’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives. Amy is an adjunct professor at City College's BIC Program, where she teaches Cross-Cultural Marketing. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and Ph.D. from Stanford, and is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian. She has worked with a wide variety of health and non-health clients, including Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, The American Heart Association, Janssen, Merck, Nestle, Citibank, HBO, Marriott and Progressive Insurance.
