Kate Rothen
Partner, SS+K
Kate Rothen is a Partner Chief Operating Officer at SS+K. As COO, she’s responsible for translating SS+K’s mission into action, and generally managing the happy chaos of the agency. Among many projects at SS+K, Kate has helped to fight TV censorship, empower female entrepreneurs, mobilize the youth vote for President Obama [twice], and devised strategies to get Americans plugged into the electric car for Chevrolet. She has engineered engagement strategies for clients including Chevrolet, Kraft, Audi, and Westin Hotels. She has served as SS+K's first Director of Social Media and as Executive Director of the agency account management team.
In 2011, the Impact Center named Kate as one of twelve Women's Leadership Institute Fellows.
Kate is a graduate of Amherst College. She has taught the Internal Management course as an Adjunct Professor at BIC.
