Matt Neale
CEO, Golin
As CEO, Matt is responsible for Golin’s overall strategy, performance and culture. Matt also oversees the management of Golin’s sister brands, The Brooklyn Brothers, Virgo Health and DeVries Global.
Matt is an international specialist, having spent the first 20 years of his career launching brands, products and services around the world. His longest client relationship is Unilever (over 25 years) and currently enjoys working with LEGO and PepsiCo on both sides of the Atlantic and as well as McDonald’s, a Golin client for 68 years.
Under Matt’s leadership Golin has won Agency of the Year, seven times in the UK, four times in the US and received several global Agency of the Year awards from PR Week and PRovoke. 2024 was an exceptionally high-water mark as Golin won two Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions festival of Creativity, including being the first PR agency in the history of the festival to win the PR Grand Prix.
In addition to being named by ICCO as PR Leader of the Year, Matt was named as Outstanding Agency Professional by PR Week in 2024 and recognized on the PRWeek Power List from 2017 through to 2024.
Matt is also actively involved with several industry associations. He is a board member of The LAGRANT Foundation and advisory board member of the City College of New York’s Branding + Communication program. He was the past chairman of the PRCA, and current member of the Economic Club of New York and BAFTA.
Formerly a Londoner, Matt now calls New York home. He is happiest reading John Le Carré novels for the third time, taking his daughters to the Yankees and spending time at film festivals with his wife, Naomi.
