BIC Portfolio Thesis Defense
BIC portfolios demonstrate discipline expertise in an integrated framework.
In order to graduate, all BIC students must present their BIC portfolios to a jury of professors, advisors, and industry professionals on a designated day scheduled during graduation week in late May. BICsters work independently the first year and then increasingly under the guidance of their track advisors in the second year to develop a unique representation of product, process and personality in their discipline. Exact date of the Defense is determined in the Spring semester.
Each student has 18 minutes to present her/his digital portfolio and 7 minutes to defend the work to the jury of high level experts in management, strategic planning, creative, and public relations. Presentations are TIMED -- students are cut off if they go over length.
