Track ONE: Creative

The BIC Creative track produces art directors and copywriters who are alchemists: they know how to play within the constraints of 2-dimension to create new meaning from the magical synergy of "art + copy." From there, they are able to identify specific communication opportunities for any brand and how to capitalize on them through effective and memorable creative concepts that can – with further development -- explode beyond those dimensions into immersive campaigns that have no boundaries.

BIC Creatives are able to effectively translate a communications strategy into big ideas that can be expressed consistently across different channels, while maximizing the strengths of each specific medium. Each creative challenge is appreciated in a business framework as students learn to defend and critique work in all stages of development, preparing them not just for entry level positions in advertising, branding, and communications agencies, but setting them up for leadership positions within creative management. This is where creativity goes to not just build a portfolio, but to transform the industry.

Their portfolios look different, too. They are uniquely powerful with integrated projects that reveal creative solutions, nimble strategic thinking, and a thoughtful process that builds brands.


Based on undergraduate focus and work experience, BIC grads who specialize in this track may get jobs as: Agency Creative Directors (Advertising, PR, Experiential), Copywriters, Art Directors, Content Creators, Brand Experience Managers, Corporate Branding Directors, etc.
