The BIC Master of Professional Studies (MPS) combines theory and practice in an interdisciplinary, multi-tracked curriculum.
We like to say we have ONE foot in the rigor and safe space of Academia BUT TWO feet in the real world.
This is a 36-credit program that can be finished in two years on a full time basis, or slightly longer p[art time.
It is a portfolio-based program where each student is expected to have a website they can be proud of showing off their work, theiur unique POV on the world of communications and the ability to attract employers or clients.
Most courses are held in the evenings and all are taught by Adjunct Professors who are current high level professionals.

In addition to learning shared foundational and applied knowledge, BIC students drill down in one of FOUR TRACKS (BUT SIX AREAS) OF SPECIALIZATION:
CREATIVE (Writing or Art Directing/Design)

The Portfolio Pitch: Telling YOUR Unique Story
Storytelling is the magic bullet (especially in a world increasingly driven by AI and automated entry level tasks).
All students will be asked to pitch themselves and their work using their Website Portfolio at the end of their 2 year process.
The portfolio will be presented to a panel of professors and the student portfolios that receive a green light for excellence in professional standards will have the chance to be presented to recruiters, and high level professionals in the industry, while being promoted on the BIC website.
