TogetHER
TogetHER is a project that started as an academic concept in a BIC class. It was then further developed as an app for The ONE Club's College Competition where it empowered a wearable device that served as a personal walkathon to help empower women in disadvantaged areas. It was a finalist in the Client Pitch competition. It was then accepted into the Zahn Innovation Incubator.
This is an example of "pay it forward" projects that start out as ideas inside the classroom, but break free of academic boundaries with the aid of SoGo to become commercially viable projects that make a social impact.
