Program Director and Professor Nancy R. Tag was a creative director at major New York agencies and sat on the New York Board at the world's largest agency before starting a teaching career at Parsons School of Design. She has two commercials in the permanent collection of advertising at the Museum of Modern Art.
In addition to winning professional awards such as the Clio, ADDY and Effie, Professor Gerardo Blumenkrantz leads the Creative Track in-between sketching illustrations that have earned him the prestigious Maurice Sendak Fellowship for Creative Storytellers.
Practioners-as-Professors such as Jason Stefanik have helped BIC students win two gold and one silver pencils in The ONE Club's Young Ones Competition along with a number of Merits and a Bronze ADC Cube. Professor Belle Frank, EVP at VMLY&R, has mentored research papers that ended up as presentations at ARF's ReThink Conference.
Recognizing the purpose and power of BIC students, The LAGRANT Foundation has awarded scholarships to a record-breaking twenty BICsters since our launch in 2013. According to TLF President, Kim L. Hunter, "BIC students are the future of the industry."
