Kamillah Collins and Jade Holiday organize an exclusive networking event at Ogilvy
On March 25th, students from the Class of 2024 visited Ogilvy’s New York office in the World Trade Center for a Ogilvy x BIC Fireside Chat networking event. Graduating BICsters Kamillah Collins, Senior Strategist at Oglivy, and Jade Holiday, Media Analyst at Fox, organized the event. They brought together a stellar panel of industry experts spanning from creative wizards to strategic gurus and more. It's your chance to gain invaluable insights, forge meaningful connections, and kickstart your journey in the world of creativity.
The Ogilvy Fireside Chat was a cozy space to get real about the burning questions BICsters have before entering the industry. Moderated by Kamillah, the panel started with getting to hear what a typical day at work looks like at Ogilvy. They shared honest experiences of working with clients, how to get yourself out of a creative rut, and tips for growing your network as a young ad professional. The panel also talked about the ever-growing importance of DEI, and how to spot when a company is just ticking off a diversity box or actually living up to the value of diversity.
A BIG BIC thank you to the panelists: Natalia Brache, Account Supervisor, Noel Bronson, Senior Creative, Josue Mendez, Global DEI Project Specialist, Erin Nemeth Buchanan, Vice President, Consumer Public Relations, and Harding Royster, Strategy Director.
And brava to Kamillah and Jade for coordinating this great event!
