Shadiq (BIC ‘22) becomes the second Alumni on the BIC Board
Let’s give a warm welcome to Shadiq Williams, Program Coordinator for the Black & Latino Male Initiative at Brooklyn College, who joins the BIC Board as the second Alumni Board Member. BIC's first Alumni Board Member, Rebecca Rivera, finished up her 2-year term earlier this Fall.
As an educator by profession, public relations strategist by training, and communicator at heart, Shadiq aims to assist in developing recruitment strategies that will enhance undergraduate students’ awareness of BIC.
Shadiq Williams is the Vice President of Communications for Nu Omega Chi Fraternity, Inc. and Program Coordinator for the Black & Latino Male Initiative at Brooklyn College where he develops communications strategies for the persistence of the program's participants.
Shadiq scaled his brand KRXOVR media (pronounced "crossover") to over 65,000 YouTube subscribers and 93,000 TikTok followers with music commentary that bridges cultural gaps between international audiences. He also is also the Brand Manager of Crush the Coast, LLC. (“CTC”) which he co-founded to organize community events for college and high school students.
