BICsters Rising >> These BICsters are a BIC BIG Deal

By BIC CCNY Posted on 02/16/2022 10:00

Bravo, BICsters for starting the year strong and showing the power of a BIC degree!

It’s only a few weeks into 2022 and our BIC alumni are already killing it! From Meta, to Saatchi & Saatchi and MullenLowe, Natasha, Karina, Paul and Jermine are showing the industry what they’re made of.

Natasha Khemraj BIC ‘20 just scored a role as an Account Executive at Saatchi & Saatchi. Natasha will be on the P&G Oral Care Global team where she will be working on Crest and Oral-B. Prior to this she was an AAE at Merkley + Partners working on the Mercedes-Benz USA Tier 2 team and was promoted to AE on a different account, Vanda Pharmaceuticals. She also had a Nissan Business internship at TBWA\Chiat\Day. It’s incredible to see Natasha move from automotive to pharma and now into CPG on P&G, the largest CPG company in the world!

Karina Salce BIC ‘17 landed a job as a DevOps Systems Program Manager at Meta. In this role, she helps transform business needs to deliver reliable tooling solutions that enable internal business to operate at scale. Prior to this, she was a contracted Technical Program Manager at Google where she worked on complex, cross-functional efforts. Before joining Google, Karina was a Product Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) managing and helping shape the future of a growing program that helped companies like Nike, Barclays, and Sony address their cloud computing needs.

Fun BIC fact: Karina was on the team that won BIC’s first gold ONE Show pencil! A star from the beginning.

Creative duo Paul Bernabe BIC ‘21 and Jermine Hodge BIC ‘21 are moving on up to MullenLowe as a Copywriter and Art Director. MullenLowe U.S. is a “hyperbundled” agency, integrating disciplines from brand strategy to creative, digital marketing, media planning and buying, mobile marketing, public relations and social influence, design, CRM and performance analytics. Paul and Jermine will be working on the E-Trade account. Prior to this, the creative duo were snapped up by TBWA\Chiat\Day after graduation as Associate Copywriter and Art Director. Before this, Paul spent over three years at Weill Cornell Medicine writing patient stories as well as documenting groundbreaking surgical treatments and Jermine was a Communications Broadcast & Multimedia Production Coordinator at Medgar Evers College, CUNY.

Bravo, BICsters for starting the year strong and showing the power of a BIC degree!
