Nicole has an extensive background - from academia to criminal legal research, global health, and now higher education.

This February, recent graduate Ingrid Ramos BIC ‘23 started a new role as a Creative Copywriter at Leo Burnett Chicago. Prior to that, Ingrid was at Conill Advertising working on the Toyota account. She has also worked at BBDO, MullenLowe, McCann, Circus Grey and Wunderman Thompson Perú.

Marian Cuestas BIC ‘21 began a new job as Copy Editor & Translator at Dieste Health in November of last year. In January, Dhvani Unadkat BIC ‘17 was promoted at Amazon to Product Marketing Manager. Dhvani moved up from her previous title of Measurement Partner Manager, where she was featured by BIC among two other BICsters who joined the Amazon team at the same time. She has also worked at Edelman Data & Intelligence and Hunter PR.

A first-generation Latina, this year Amy Perez BIC ‘21 went the entrepreneurial route along with fellow BICster Lisandra de la Paz BIC ‘21 to found Fluentica. The roots of Fluentica were unknowingly planted back in 2021 during their time at BIC. Amy, Lisandra, and CUNY alum Wendy Betancourt envisioned a multicultural marketing agency committed to helping US Hispanic businesses thrive and US brands form genuine connections with the Hispanic market.

Back in September, Hanako Suzuki BIC’23 started as a Copywriter Ogilvy. While at BIC, Hanako won TWO One Club Young Ones pencils, a The LAGRANT Foundation Scholarship, and had a 3.925 GPA, one of the highest of her class. Prior to her new role, Hanako was a copywriter at Macy’s and an Account Executive at dentsu in Tokyo.

Another recent grad, Jaymie Lunt BIC ‘23 joined Sony Hall this January as a Box Office Manager.  Sony Hall is the new premiere music venue in New York City focused on presenting world renowned performing artists across all music genres, powered by state of the art technology. Jaymie is an award-winning art director, winning a One Club Young Ones Pencil while at BIC. Jaymie has also worked at Weber Shandwick, Live Nation, ACM Talent and The Bowery Presents.

Brava, BIC sisters! Keep on shining in 2024 and beyond!
