Let’s Get REAL: A Conversation with TLF + Omnicom

By BIC CCNY Posted on 10/18/2022 13:18

The BIC Class of 2024 are special guests at a networking event hosted by The LAGRANT Foundation and Omnicom.

Let’s Get REAL: How much actual change comes from conversations about diversity, equity and inclusion? How do you address microaggressions as a community leader? How can we all show up as our truest selves at work? TLF Scholars and Omnicom Change Agents discussed these topics + more at their networking forum event “Real Talk for Real Change.”

On September 28th, 2022, the BIC Class of 2024 was welcomed by Omnicom CEO Mark O’Brien to an invitation-only networking forum hosted by The LAGRANT Foundation and Omnicom Brand Consulting Group & Omnicom Public Relations Group. The New York event was the first in a series leading up to The LAGRANT Foundation’s 25th Anniversary in 2023.
The two panels that evening discussed the state of the industry and opportunities for lasting change. Led by Ketchum Global President and CEO Mike Doyle, the Omnicom Executive Change Agents panel held a candid conversation about what it really takes to attract the best talent and build successful careers in communications, design & creative industries. The TLF Alumni panel kept it real with experiences they’ve had as diverse professionals and how both the employee and employer can spur change.
Thank you to Kim Hunter, Chairman and CEO of The LAGRANT Foundation and Soon Mee Kim Chief DEI Officer of Omnicom for hosting this wonderful event and for making your All-Stars shine so bright.
